Department of Computer Science and Engineering of Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, Mumbai is conducting "Convergence". This event brings together experts from the industry and academia showcasing their current research in the hottest area of Cloud Computing and Virtualization. Convergence mainly constitutes technical events ranging from Symposium, Workshops, Talks and Poster Competitions to fun events like Quizzes, Programming Competitions and a lot more.

Hands on Workshop by Industry on Cloud Computing and Virtualization

- CS Quiz:
Enter the arena along with some of the best brains of the country and witness the brutal confrontations of gladiators armed not with swords but their brains. This is a call for the quizzing freaks to come forward and claim what they deserve.

- Programming Contest
Don't know what a programming contest is? It's a battle of brains. A number of challenging problems will be given and your aim is to solve as many problems as you can as quickly as possible.

- Animate your way
Have creative idea in mind, blend it with our theme to create an interesting short flash movie and win exciting prizes. Convergence-11 welcomes all budding animators to participate in "Animate Your Way to Prizes".

- aMAZE
Welcome to Amaze, the Online Treasure Hunt of Convergence. Here is a maze, some questions have multiple answers and the next difficulty level will be according to your answer to the current question. This game will check your power of logic, creativity and your ability to connect between seemingly unrelated things.

- Lit Masters
Let your imagination run wild bound by the sanctuary of computer science and have your words dance around to the tunes of your theme. Convergence - 11 welcomes you all to participate in a plethora of innovation and create your way to the top to gain recognition and win exciting prizes. The judges who read the poems will look for originality, rhythmic sounds, rhymes, creativity and audience appeal. They will also look for poems where the authors really care about the subjects or trivial subjects approached in a novel way.
